Beauty Army Box March Contents
What I got in this months Beauty Army Box:
-
Boo-Boo Cover up - A healing ointment that conceals as it heals – no ugly bandage needed. When a I first saw the size of this sample I laughed. However, after trying this product I realized that a very small amount does go quite a long way. All you need is a dab of this putty-like healing concealer to do the job. I used this on a ruptured pimple on my face. It covered well and within two days of use there was barely a mark left. Typically it would take up to a week to see a difference like this. I was impressed by this product and believe in its healing properties. This is great for when you are dressed up for an evening and a bandage simply will not do. It also is water-resistant. Retail $20.48
-
Babor Anti-Stress Cream - I received a very generous sample of this face cream. It is formulated to protect the skin against the impact of stress and fatigue on the skin. It is said to help restore the balance in the skin. It is a great creamy texture that applies well and leaves skin well moisturized. It has a very light perfumed scent which I did not like, (it does contain perfume) but overall it seemed like a good moisturizer. Retail $72
-
Weleda Iris Hydrating Facial Lotion – This is a lightweight, fast absorbing cream that helps to soothe and hydrate oily to combination skin. This sample was a repeated selection for me. I love Weleda products and this one is great for summer. Retail $50
-
MAD Skincare Youth Transformation Age Corrective Serum - A lightweight, fast absorbing serum that uses multi-stem and multi-peptide technology to improve and protect againt signs of aging. This product had a medicinel scent to it, similar to diaper rash cream. Skin felt softer and smoother after applying. Retail $58
-
CellCeuticals PhotoDefense Anti-PhotoAging Daily Skin Protector SPF 55+ - Lightweight formula with patent pending Photoplex, which provides anti-aging protection against daily UVA and UVB sun exposure. I have yet to try this product. I would probably only use it when I will be in the sun for an extended amount of time as a sunscreen only. It has a traditional sunscreen scent. Retail $45
-
SunFX Body Shimmer - A hydrating and illuminating body shimmer with shea butter, sweet almond oil & macadamia oils. This body shimmer deposits a great amount of sheen to the skin without being overtly sparkly (a la Twilight vampire). I will definitely be using this lotion to bring out my summer tan. I would apply it over my moisturizer down the length of the front side of my legs. I would not over- apply this product to avoid an ashy-looking results. It has a summer-y coconut scent. Retail $24.95

This will be my last Beauty Army Box. I was not too impressed nor familiar with the brands that they carried and have cancelled my subscription. I really wanted more variation including makeup. However, they have excellent customer service and cancellation was a breeze. I liked the company and would definitely consider signing up again if I start to see some more products and brands that interest me.
