How to get more mileage out of your mani!

Sparkly Ombré Nails

This is a trick on how to disguise the chips and wear on your manicure. To add a couple of more days in between your manicures. It a really easy way to create a sparkly ombre look.

Photo of completely unacceptable chips 5 days into my manicure.

Color – Topless and Barefoot by Essie.

To create this look use a sparkly top coat with small and large sparkles in it. Apply one coat of the top coat all over nail then reapply more coats closer and closer to the edge of nail. Contunie to reapply to desired effect. I strategically placed the larger sparkle bits on chipped nail area to disguise it. This nail polish is a fast drying top coat that allows you to reapply quickly.

This is a fast and easy way to create sparkly nail art. No need to wait for chips to wear this look.

What do you think? Will you try this look?

I usually just put the sparkly all over when my polish starts chipping…but I lovel this way more. I will totally give it a try. :)

I tend to go with a crackle, but for glitter topcoats I agree with tam0rama, nicer than just glitter all over!
