GlamGlow Tingling and Exfoliating Mud Mask

What it is:

GlamGlow Tingling and Exfoliating Mud Mask was created for “Hollywood’s entertainment, fashion and music businesses to create camera-ready skin. It gently exfoliates and absorbs impurities without removing natural oils.

Contains:

Volcanic Rock – French Sea Clay – Green Tea Leaf Pieces – Pumice – Camellia Leaf – Chamomile Flower Extract – Calendula Flower Extract – Lavandula Oil

My Thoughts:

I love mud masks. I find them very effective at drawing out impurities and giving you instant radiant skin. I believe every woman should have a clay mask in her beauty routine. I have heard good things about this mask from people in the modeling industry. I was eager to try it out but was hesitant of the hefty $69 price tag, but the sucker that I am I wen’t for it.

This mask has an abrasive texture due to the pumice it contains, so it has an exfoliating effect as well. As it dries it starts to tingle. It has an incredible botanical scent and contains large chunks of green tea leaves which you can see in the above image. You leave it on for 10 minutes than rinse with water. This mask is effective at removing impurities. My skin looks clearer and smoother after use. I do notice a more “glowing” effect on my skin but the effect is not major. This is a very good clay mask but a little more pricey than it’s worth. By all means if you have the money to spare I do recommend it. If you want a clay mask for a better deal that is just as good, I recommend the Origin’s Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask at Origins.com.

Have you tried this mask? Do you use a clay mask? What face mask so you like?

I’ve used the Origins one before and liked it. It’s also nice for the occasional blemish, as just an overnight spot treatment.
