Ren Ultra Moisture Day Cream is ”specifically formulated with a moisture replenishing complex to leave dry skin soothed, comfortable, optimally hydrated and looking beautifully healthy.”
This is my first purchase from the REN skincare line and in no way did it fail to impress. I have been wanting to try something from REN for quite some time. All products are “clean products” which basically means that it is free from any potential irritants. These ingredients include synthetic fragrances, pore-blocking petrochemicals, sulfate detergents, synthetic colours, animal ingredients and parabens. Please note that only two products in the line contain the animal-derived ingredients milk and beeswax. So this line is great for those with sensitive skin, those with certain allergies, as well as vegans, and everyone else after that. I personally have dry skin that is sometimes sensitive and reactive.
It is rare for me to make a skincare purchase without first doing plenty of research on the product that I am considering. I regard the brand and every ingredient making sure that it contains all the things that my skin type personally requires. I also prefer a more natural approuch to skincare. My expectations are high and I thoroughly test skin care products before forming any kind of opinion. Skincare products are not as readily viewed on this blog because of this. To be considered part of my skin care regimen a product must be nothing less than wonderful. So, that being said, meet my new day cream!
REN Ultra Moisture Day cream is chock-full of beneficial ingredients. To name only a few, it contains peptides from beech tree buds and Hylauronic Acid, two very important ingredients beneficial to providing moisture to the skin and keeping it there. It contains a “Global Protection Complex” (antioxidants) derived from seaweed, arctic cranberries, candle tree leaves and leghemoglobin from kudzu zymbiozome. It also contains rose water and shea butter.
This day cream provides an intense amount of moisture to my skin. This cream should be perfect to provide comfort and relief through the harsher winter months. It has a light comforting scent, reminiscent of oatmeal. I did not find it necessary to use a whole pump, a little goes a long way and this bottle should last me quite some time. Although I use this cream along with a serum, it is certainly moisturizing enough to be used alone. I am extremely satisfied using this product, and feel that my skin is well taken care of. I highly recommend it!

Have you tried anything from REN? Any thoughts?

No wonder your skin is perfect!
I got a sample of a glyoclic renew mask from them- it was pretty good! I still have another packet left..saving it for a bigger occasion!
Aw thanks Whitney. Ive been wanting to try the mask but I need to use mine up first. Love glycolic acid peels, they do work
Sounds wonderful…my skin is super dry as well. Do you just apply sunscreen before this since it doesn’t have SPF?
Im literally never outdoors come the colder weather, so I’m not using it. I would however apply it before or use a makeup containing SPF on top.. ie, nars pure radiant, I trust their protection.
xx
Got it, thanks!
I’m in the market for a winter cream, and this sounds lovely! Though might be too much for my normal-to-oily skin. I have tried REN before and I really like their philosophy on skincare – it might be time to revisit the brand! The Vita-Mineral Day Cream sounds like it might be better suited. Obviously, whatever you’re using it’s working, as your skin looks fantastic Taylor
Thank you Latoya! I feel the same way about you
I totally reccomend seeking out REN again. I also picked up a serum that I am currently using.
xx
I haven’t tried anything from Ren but I’d love to! It looks like a brand that’s right up my alley. I have the same approach to skincare, so every skincare product you read about on my blog has at least been with me for 2 months!
I’ve always been interested in trying REN products, but haven’t got around because I’m kind of reluctant to try new product now. Now that I read your review, I think I will at least try to get some sample from Sephora!
Thank you for sharing
I’m so glad. I just picked up a REN eye cream sample from Sephora, greatful for their samples.
