Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics – Active Moisture Vitamin C Serum

One Love Organics, known for its hand-made, natural, and high potency skin care joined forces with the green beauty guru Elizabeth Dehn, the writer of BeautyBets.com. Together, with a commitment to natural ingredients, they created the Active Moisture Line. The Active Moisture Vitamin C Serum and the Active Moisture Vitamin E Eye Balm aim to deliver maximum moisture and anti-aging benefits to all skin types with the power of pharmaceutical-grade naturally active ingredients.

In creating the Active Moisture Line, Suzanne LeRoux the creator of One Love Organics (who also makes this beauty) and Elizabeth Dehn came to recognize that something was missing from their skin care products. That something was moisture, “not just any moisture but intense moisture and active ingredients that deliver maximum hydration benefits.”  A tune too familiar to me. Together, Suzanne and Elizabeth have given us what we have so desperately been seeking, nailing it with the Moisture Active Vitamin C Serum.

The Active Moisture Vitamin C Serum helps to “restore moisture levels and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.” It’s potent mixture of antioxidants “naturally brighten and replenish skin for a more radiant, even-toned complexion.” It contains vitamins A, C, D, & E, antioxidants from green tea oil and sea buckthorn oil as well as rare fatty Acid Omega 7, along with Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids.

This amped-up serum is a bit heavier than your traditional serum and has a gel consistency. It blends out similar to a dry oil that completely absorbs into the skin without leaving any excess grease. Your skin will drink this up and feel instantly plumped and intensely moisturized while your complexion is provided with an instant boost of radiance.

For a dry-skinned girl like myself I was quite surprised when my skin felt sufficiently moisturized with use of the serum alone. I have been using the Active Moisture Vitamin C Serum for about 7 weeks now with great results. My skin feels incredibly nourished, radiant and perhaps even a little brighter. In the morning, after toning, I apply one pump to my face and neck pressing the product into my skin using my fingertips. This product takes place of a serum and moisturizer and more than meets my needs. I highly recommend the Active Moisture Vitamin C Serum to anyone of any skin-type.

Vitamin C Active Moisture Serum is $68 for 0.8 FL OZ

Now this sounds like something amazing! I really appreciate the amount of anti oxidents they put in there, and the texture sounds just lovely! It must be great because your skin always looks like perfection!^^

Hey Taylor, thanks for putting yet another nice organic skincare brand on my map! My skin isn’t too dry, but I’m always interested in vitamin C and antioxidant! Will have to look into it.

  3. Oh, another new brand to me. Thanks for the info :-) I love it when I learn something new. And, the vitamin C in the ingredient sounds good!

  4. So glad you reviewed this – I just got a sample earlier this week and ordered a full size last night to take advantage of the 20% off! I love it (and the OLO morning glory serum as well) so far but obviously have not been testing it long! I’ve been I’m curious how it compares to other vitamin serum/oils out there – mainly the Ole Henrikson and Perricone versions – have you tried either of these by chance?

    • Hi Elle! I’m glad to hear your using it as well. I havnt tried the Morning Glory. I have used several C Serums including the Ole. I have never really like the Ole personally, I think it’s a fine product but nothing exceptional. The thing about this one is the texture, it incredible. It’s so moisturizing that I can go without any moisturizer. I also like that its organic and natural, in my experience I receive better results with an organic skin routine. I also love that it includes so many other antioxidants so I don’t feel like I need to layer anything with it. It’s just this one product for the day plus a SPF and done! Hope that helped ;-)
      Beautiful blog btw!

I’ve been trying out the Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Extract by Kiehl’s which also contains Vitamin C and I’m really trying to push through in applying it.. I guess this is long run material?

This Elizabeth Arden ones seems a bit more moisturizing reading your comments.. The Kiehl’s one has quite an unusual texure, it seems almost too sticky to spread out although it’s not sticky at all. My English fails to describe it. Have you tried it? Is it comparable?

    • Hi Isabelle.
I have not tried the one from Kiehl’s so I can’t really compare. I can honetly say that the moisturizing ability for this serum is so much more than I’ve ever tried. It’s quite unusual, plus the ingredients are all natural and organic. It’s really a beautiful product :-)

The Vitamin E Eye Balm is utterly fabulous, too! ED4OLO 4-EVA! ;)

  7. This sounds really great! I’m going to have to investigate this brand!

This sounds great Taylor! Where I’m oily I’m certain this would provide amply hydration for me, and I would love to have a Vit C serum on hand :)
