Day-Glo Lips – OCC Lip Tar in Divine

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Divine Swatch and Review

A very light application using a lip brush – natural light

Applied heavily in natural light

With Flash

Swatched in natural light

OCC Lip Tar is unlike any lip product I have ever tried. It is not a lipstick, a stain, a gloss, or anything else,  it’s a lip tar. It is a gooey, highly pigmented, mint scented paint. The smallest possible amount of product provides heavy opaque color that lasts all day. Divine is a day-glo pink that is not for every woman. I enjoyed playing around with this lipstick and its a unique formulation. I love that is vegan and cruelty-free!

Lightly applied with gloss

To make this lipstick more wearable (as seen above) I applied it using a lip brush, which is necessary in using this product to get an even distribution of color. I then applied Buxom Lip Polish in Sandy (a shimmering nude pink) to warm it up and give it some shine.
