John Master’s Blood Orange and Vanilla Body Milk

John Master’s Blood Orange and Vanilla Body Milk is a “quick absorbing, delicate blend of milk thistle, aloe vera and essential oils of blood orange and vanilla and has a beautiful light scent. Safflower oil and sea algae hydrate skin while aloe vera helps to heal. Rich in nutrients, it replenishes while making the skin soft. ”

This body milk from John Master’s is chock full of natural and organic ingredients which are incredibly nourishing for the skin. It contains key ingredients such as blood orange to help with collagen formation and a detoxification, milk thistle for an antioxidant, vegetable glycerin as a humectant, arnica to hydrate and stimulate blood circulation and aloe vera gel to soothe and act as an anti-inflammatory. The lotion itself is light and absorbs quickly, perfect for right now. I am a fan of super thick balms and creams, yet I find this body milk to do a fantastic job of moisturizing my skin alone. However, I will probably need a more substantial cream come the cooler months, but will probably mix this in for the scent.

This lotion has an intoxicating blend of blood orange and vanilla. I was immediately sold on the scent alone. The combination of super sweet vanilla and orange citrus lends it a tart yet clean scent which is refreshing and sweet, yet sexy. It makes me think of orange tic tacs in the best way possible and I absolutely adore it. It is a ‘feel good’ fragrance that makes the moisturizing process a heavenly experience that I couldn’t help but smile. The scent is very noticeable at first but does soften and lighten as it warms on the skin. There is a body wash to this lotion, which is fantastic as well.

Oh dear, this DOES sound lovely!! I’m going to have to take a look at the ingredients and see if I can pull this off (I have eczema so that’s why I was opting for the unfragranced) – I love vanilla and blood orange together! And I love the classic simple look of the John Masters products – fabulous!

  2. Oooo! I havebeen wanting to try more John Masters Organics. Your right, they are ckock-full of healthy ingredients. If you haven’t tried the Bearberry Skin Balancing Face Wash, I would highly recommend it. I have a detailed review of it on my blog. I have been using it daily in the morning, it has an invigorating cooling effect that heps wake me up and it’s great for oily or ance prone skin types.
