Another mention from the Givenchy Soir D’Excpetion Collection for fall 2013 is the Nail Lacquer in #10, Lilas D’Exception. I coveted the collection, picking up the dusty rose selection Rose D’Exception Nail Polish and matching lipstick. I revisit the collection, introducing you to my most recent addition, a lavender hued polish that is perfectly on trend for this season.
Lilas D’Exception is a lavender shade with many depths. At times I see more grey, which turns to cornflower blue in the bright sunlight, though mostly remains deep lavender indoors. Unlike Lilas partner Rose D’Exception, Lilas applies quite sheer on the first coat. A second coat covers perfectly, leaving a high-shine finish. The flat, tapered brush, familiar to Givenchy Polishes, enables complete control and a neat mani.

Hey Taylor, I wasn’t too sure about this one till I saw it on you! You’re right about the depth! Now I need to swatch this 😉 I’m also eyeing the sparkling nail polish from their holiday collection!
Wow it’s really different and nice! I wasn’t expecting it to be so deep! I like it!
Oooh, I love that it’s deeper with shades of grey in it. I expected it to be more pastel. Nice one!
Very pretty! It’s color yet still sophisticated, office-appropriate
Ahhh, this is one of my favorite colors. ❤ absolutely lovely.
Wow, this is a really pretty lavender! 🙂
Eeek, it’s so pretty! Rats. This may be a new brand of polish for me to get hooked on!
This polish is beautiful!
I seriously considered picking this shade up as I am dying to try the Givenchy formula, but I haven’t seen it in store and I’m not sure how this will look on my skintone. However, on YOU Taylor – simply stunning!
The Givenchy formula is a beauty. I also picked it up in Rose D’Exception, would look gorgeous on you!xo
