A pretty incredible product fell into my hands recently. It’s called Butter and it’s an all-natural body butter from the brand, Ellovi. Ellovi is a brand on a mission to clean up the dirty world that the beauty industry has become. Comprised completely of the purest and most nutritional plant-based ingredients that the planet has to offer. Butter is a clean product, completely free of synthetic ingredients, fillers, chemicals, parabens, preservatives or any “secret ingredients.” Butter is beauty without the bad.
Butter’s short and sweet list of ingredients include, macadamia seed oil, coconut oil, hemp seed oil, marula nut oil, organic corn starch and shea butter. Free of water, it’s a concentrated formula that won’t evaporate on the skin, keeping you better moisturized for the long haul. Butter has the most delicious, buttery texture which my skin instantly drinks up. Although brimming with oils, the butter absorbs surprisingly quick and won’t leave you greasy before dressing. The Butter smells faintly of coconut oil.
Butter is the first product from Ellovi, although they soon plan to roll out an entire line of beauty products. I will certainly be keeping my eyes peeled for whats next. This concentrated formula of all natural goodness is $26 and worth every penny. Its’ one of the best moisturizers I have personally used and almost a necessity as we are reaching colder temperatures.
Ellovi Butter is $26 at Ellovi.com
This is on my to buy list! I read about it earlier this month and am absolutely salivating to try it out – I just have to get through my backlog of Haus of Gloi pumpkin butters first 😉
Latoya, it’s heaven. I’ve never tried Haus of Gloi but have seen many mentions from my favorite beauties. Also, Waxelene is a great budget buy, though I’m not a huge fan of the scent.
Oh Taylor this sounds lovely and the faint coconut scent must be quite nice! A short list of ingredients is always a good thing in my book. 🙂
Agreed! Short and good quality!
Love that intro. ‘… to clean up the dirty world…’ Hahahahaha!! Good one 🙂
Thanks Lily! Xo
I need to try this! It sounds divine. Do you find that you use less of it than a normal body butter? I just noticed that it only contains 3.5 oz and I normally slather on excessive amounts of body butter…
I absolutely know what you mean. So, Ellovi is more of a balm, it’s not similar to any body butter I’ve tried. This one is exceptional, I little goes a long way. I truly love it. It’s neither so liar to any DIY butter.
This sounds absolutely wonderful Taylor and just in time for me. Been looking for a great cream/butter and I think I like the look and the ingredients involved. I love it when ingredients are straight to the point and easy to understand. Thanks so much for sharing. x Donah
My pleasure Donah! It’s a wonderful product!
