Ellovi Lip Butter

Ellovi, the brand that brought us Butter, the all natural, six-ingredient body butter has a hit, this time is for out lips. With the same concept in which Butter was created, the new Lip Butter contains only six ingredients. All ingredients, including Hawaiian coconut, hemp, macadamia, Ghanaian marula, and shea are derived from only the purest, high quality ingredients that nature has to offer. Lip Butter is good enough to eat, which is a good thing, since you will most likely be doing just that.

This no frills balm simply hydrates, protects and heals effectively. I’ve often preached that for optimal lip health you must keep it simple. Medicated balms full of chemicals and fancy ingredients will only exacerbate your problem. Ellovi gets it and Lip Butter does just that.

  1. Oh this sounds AMAZING!! Love to get a tube of this!

Yes – loving the simplicity of this. It’s going on my lemming list, STAT, along with the Butta!
Whenever my lips go bonkers and dry out like desert camel hairs, I always go back to my original lip healer: Aquaphor. Not exactly a queen of natural ingredients, but I swear it works for me like nothing else. I will be forever grateful to it, too, because it healed my seatbelt bite on my collar bone in 3 days after a car accident early last year.

Unfortunately, the original Butter does NOT agree with my skin – I don’t know which ingredient it is that is the culprit because they’re all so natural, but it’s all sorts of bad. My lips might be able to tolerate this, but I’m not sure I’d take the chance! 😦

  4. This butter is great for my lips, no-frills, reliable hydration
