BITE BEAUTY Agave Lip Mask in Champagne Review

When Bite Beauty first released their original Agave Lip Mask, I was somewhat curious, although thrown off by use of the term ‘mask’ in a lip product. Then they released the Agave Lip Mask in Champagne, added in pink tones and golden shimmer, that is when I took a closer look. I sampled the product in store and was met with a gorgeous golden, shimmering sheen that kept my lips moist for hours after application. I picked the Lip Mask up the next day at my local Sephora.

So, the Agave Lip Mask is basically a balm, an extraordinary one at that. It’s quite thick (although not tacky) which I believe aids in its ability to last through hours of wear. This natural formula nourishes lips with bio-active blend of organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, vanilla CO2 extract, and the antioxidant trans-resveratrol found in red wine. It’s incredibly moisturizing and perfect for the upcoming colder temperatures.

the-bite-beauty-champagneChampagne is a rose gold shimmer that looks beautiful when worn alone or over any lipstick. It doesn’t provide much on my lips in terms of color, although it does deliver a golden-shimmer effect. I especially love to wear it on top of Bite Beauty’s Matte Crème Lip Crayons. I recommend strategically squeezing the aluminum tube from the bottom up, so as not to waste any product.

I recently bought a kit from Bite beauty at Sephora that includes the mask, though not in champagne I think! Can’t wait to try it 😀

Wow, this is so much more pigmented than I had imagined! I am really tempted by the original one, but Bite isn’t available here. Maybe I’ll finally hassle a friend into getting me some when she is in the States later this month.

    • I’m binging on Bite beauty. There are such a gorgeous selection of shades and textures. I also love how its more on the cleaner, natural side… my lips love it! Let me know if I can assist in your beauty endeavors ❤ ❤

  6. I want to try Bite stuff, period. They really should come to Sephora asap!! And you always look great with nude lips. I haven’t been having much luck with nudes lately. They just seem to wash me out, making me look like death 😦

    • Yes, you must! I hope they become available at more Sephora locations. The natural aspect along with great formulas and colors are alluring for sure. I think we all have our moments with nudes not working 😉

  7. I think I might need to try this, especially as my lips get so dry during the colder months.Definitely sounds like a good purchase! 🙂

    Hey Taylor!
I just want to let you know that your winged eyeliner is just perfect. Which eyeliner do you use? I’m from the Netherlands and I discovered you, because I was searching for NYX Taupe blush swatches. And I also want to say that you’re beautifull.

    • Hi Naomi!
Thank you so very much for your kind words. I use Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner. It’s incredibly easy to use, I hope it’s available to you. I also sometimes apply MUFE Aqua Liner on top for extra staying power, I’m actually probably wearing that in the photo with the blush.

No problem! Unfortunately they don’t sell Kat Von D here. 😦 I’m going to take a look on eBay for that. Thank you so much for your reply!
