Since I first caught wind that Lina Hanson was in the process of formulating her first fragrance, I have been anxiously awaiting its debut. As a die-hard fan of Lina’s Global Serum line, I had tremendous expectations. This said fragrance, was to carry similar notes to her famous Global Body Serum. When we were united alas, I realized that this fragrance was far more incredible than I had anticipated. It was love at first whiff.
Meet Satori, a fragrance inspired by Lina Hanson’s travels to the far east.
“My goal was to create a perfume that evokes the beauty of the landscape and culture of the Far East. An elegant, sexy and unique scent that transports you to the most exotic and remote areas of Thailand, Japan, and China.”

Satori is a blend of warm vanilla, grounding sandalwood, and notes of crisp and refreshing yuzu and ginger. The result, a soft citrus fragrance that is both sweet and spicy. Vanilla, in combination with the citrus notes of yuzu, reminds me of a sweet creamsicle. Ginger lends this sweet combination some spice, while sandalwood creates a woodsy addition. Satori has an uplifting aroma, that adds a smile to my face every time I wear it. It’s sexy, exotic, and undoubtedly intoxicating. With similar notes of yuzu and vanilla, Satori is the perfect complement to the Global Body Serum.
With this new fragrance release, its easy to notice the ingenious capabilities of Lina’s olfactory senses. I must add a recognition for the art of subtlety expressed in Satori. This fragrance does indeed speak, but doesn’t scream, as fragrances should. I am over the moon for Satori.
