Nucifera’s The Balm

For all your beauty needs (well several) — meet Nucifera’s The Balm*. This amped up coconut oil based balm is a multitasking wonder. As author of The Coconut Kitchen, Nucifera brand creator, Meredith Baird knows a thing or two about the vast benefits of coconut oil. Meredith created The Balm, to simplify our beauty routine with a “distinctive blend of the most healing and effective plant-based butters and oils found on earth.”

Use THE BALM to moisturize all over, remove dirt and makeup, condition hair, improve dry skin conditions, treat acne problems, minimize wrinkles, reduce inflammation and so much more.”

The Balm “simplifies” our routine with a not-so-simple formulation, loaded with a combination of amazing oils and butters, including coconut oil, kokum butter, avocado oil, borage oil, and mango butter. It’s beautifully fragranced with a light, fresh and grounding blend of lavender, peppermint, grapefruit, sandalwood, palo santo, patchouli and frankincense essential oils. The unique silky, whipped texture is certainly worth noting! A little goes a long way and spreads across the skin with ease, while absorbing instantly – making it perfect for summertime. Skin is left softened, hydrated and glowing!

On a recent getaway with The Balm in tow, this multi-purpose product helped to lighten my beauty load by serving as a hardworking eye makeup remover, body and hand moisturizer and frizz tamer. I also love to apply it to the hair before and after a dip in the pool to prevent chlorine damage. Having The Balm on hand kept me and my skin a little less stressed. I can’t wait to see more from this line.
