The change in seasons would typically leave my skin frazzled, resulting in me layering more and more products to quench my skins thirst. A funny thing happened this year however, when I would usually expect my skin to be uncomfortably dry, I didn’t. I could truly say that my skin transitioned into fall and then into winter with surprising ease! Amidst my daily skincare routine was the Hollybeth Organics Rose Geranium Moisturizer*, which I’ve been using regularly since early fall.
The Hollybeth Organics Rose Geranium Face Moisturizer is a decidedly rich one indeed. It contains an all natural and organic blend of super-rich oils including, camellia, sweet almond, jojoba, rosehip, sea buckthorn, rose geranium and vitamin E. It drenches the skin in moisture, works to ward off environmental toxins and diminish the signs of aging, while it calms and soothes.
The moisturizer has… well… an intoxicating rose geranium scent. The texture is uniquely velvety and spreads across the face easily like a cream. It’s a very rich formulation, I initially felt as though it might feel heavy on the skin, but I’m happy to say that it does not! A little bit goes a very long way and for 2oz of product at $45 it’s an amazing value. In the morning I like to apply just a pea sized amount, in the evenings I apply a bit more. My skin drinks it up! It leaves my skin feeling smooth and so incredibly hydrated. This one is definitely for the drier skin types and a great option for those with sensitive skin. I actually will reach for this when my skin feels any kind of irritation, it has an instant soothing effect. This is am absolute must have for the colder months!
