The “king of contour,” Kevyn Aucoin, unveils their brand new Etherealist Super Natural Concealer* and Corrector*, said to correct, highlight and perfect. Available in nine shades (plus one corrector), they contain a blend of “complexion brightening pearls and high-definition pigments to reflect light for a flawless effect.”
When it comes to concealer, my demands are as high and my under-eye circles are dark. Read on to see how the Etherealist Concealer stood up…
The Etherealist Concealers come packaged in a mess-free tube and features a doe foot applicator. Its texture is decidedly creamy, with a super natural finish for sure. I find they apply best with a damp Beauty Blender – my preferred application method for most base products. The concealer feels super lightweight and blends seamlessly into the skin. The formula offers light reflective qualities that brighten the skin and minimizes flaws.
As a concealer: I would say it offers medium coverage, while my dark circles do require full. After dry down, I do experience ever slight creasing, as I do with all concealers. It dries down to a natural satin finish and really doesn’t require setting. The Corrector is the perfect peach shade (for my skin tone) to help counteract blue tones. I do enjoy using it under a full-coverage concealer on days when I need more coverage (like when I’m fighting seasonal allergies).
As a highlighter and overall brightener: its brilliant! When used as a highlighter, applied to the center and high points of your face, it melts seamlessly into the skin, offering a “my skin but better” natural appearance. I love using it over a light base, applying it down my nose, on a “V” shape under my eyes, chin and center of forehead. It brightens, conceals imperfections and ingeniously blurs the pores, while offering an undetectable “skin-like” finish. It’s important to again note how brilliantly it blurs pores.

Etherealist Super Natural Concealer Corrector + Super Natural Concealer in Medium EC 03
Base: I first applied the Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint in Sand. Onto the under-eyes only, I used the Kevyn Aucoin Etherealist Super Natural Concealer Corrector,* following up with the Super Natural Concealer in Medium EC 03* applied to the center of the face for more coverage and brightening.
Cheeks: In keeping with the Kevyn Aucoin theme, I used the Contour Book Art of Sculpting + Defining Volume II*. First I applied the Contour Cream for a natural looking contour, following up with the Contour Powder. For Highlighter I went in with the Candlelight Cream on the cheekbones and the Candlelight Powder down the center of the nose and bow of the lips. For a subtle pop of color I used the middle shade in the Kevyn Aucoin Neo Highlighter on the cheeks (I love this multi-purpose palette).
Eyes: I used a combination of all powder eyeshadow shades featured in the Contour Book.
Lips: Bite Beauty The Lip Pencil in 020.
