Dr. Dana 9-Free Nail Color

How about a 9-Free Nail Color that improves you nails over time? Introducing Dr. Dana, the first dermatologist created nail care line, created by Dr. Dana Stern, a board certified dermatologist who devotes her entire practice to the diagnosis, treatment and surgery of the nail. The 9-Free line of Nail Colors are created using only high quality ingredients and are free of toxic chemicals. What you won’t find in the line is Toluene, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Triphenyl Phosphate, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide, and Parabens.

“From celebrities to luminaries, patients from all over the world come to see Dr. Dana at her bustling Fifth Avenue New York City and Hamptons practices. She is the nail expert of choice for the media and has been featured in Allure, InStyle and Dr. Oz, among many others. Vogue magazine called her “the go-to dermatologist for nail disorders and cosmetic conditions relating to nail disease.”

“The brand was born after Dr. Dana’s patients expressed their frustration with the nail treatment choices on the market. Most of them just camouflaged the issue and almost all contained harmful chemicals, which caused further damage to the nail and posed a potential risk to overall health. Drawing from over a decade of nail expertise and her vast knowledge of product chemistry, Dr. Dana set out to change the way we care for our nails.”

Hydrating Base Coat*: The 9-free Base Coat goes further than just priming your nails for color, but works over time to strengthen, hydrate and protect the nails. It contains nourishing oils, like coconut, apricot, mauritia fruit and sunflower seed, along with Dr. Dana’s very own “Phyto Crystal Complex” – derived from the sap of the French evergreen tree, which helps to strengthen the nails. It applies with ease, and immediately makes nails look cleaner and healthier, leaving behind matte finish.

Quick Dry Top Coat*: The 9-free Quick Dry Top Coat does just that, it helps nails dry at incredible speed and I’m happy to report that I no longer miss my Seche Vite. I have zero patience when waiting for my nails to dry, so a quick dry topcoat is a must. Why is there always something I so desperately need to do right after I paint my nails? After about five minutes, I can ‘gently’ go about doing my “things,” after 10-15 I’m good to go. The Top Coat also offers a ton of shine and helps to extend the life of your mani.

9-Free Nail Colors

Note: Quincy is more sheer and pink in person then as pictured above

The Nail Colors are each named for and in collaboration with inspirational and accomplished women who are at the top of their field. Featuring an Italian crafted wide brush, it brilliantly contours the nail, making application a breeze. The formula is top-notch and offers a streak-free finish (except maybe for Quincy, which is a sheer and I have difficulty applying sheer formulas). The opaque shades offers full-coverage in one layer. I have not experienced any pooling into the sides of my nails with any of the shades, so no clean-up needed! The wear is excellent, I only experienced some minor chips after four days and got a full seven days before I felt the need to redo them.

That wide brush tho
