My skin has been very happy this summer, which is not always the case. With travel, exposure to the sun and chlorine pools, my skin tends to become quite stressed. Yet with my current routine and diligence, my skin is thriving through the stressors. I’m always quite regular in my routine, only changing up masks according to my needs and occasionally switching up moisturizers in regard to the days activities. One important change I’ve made is that I’ve ridded my routine of harsh cleansers – anything that makes my skin feel “squeaky clean” is gone from my daily regimen and replaced with only the gentlest and most hydrating options. This has made a tremendous difference in my dry skin, which never feels dry these days but quite dewy actually.
Even though its mid-summer, my skin still craves layers. Ultra nourishing oils, always topped with a water-based moisturizer works best for me.

The Kjaer Weis brand takes clean cosmetics to the next level. Their most recent foundation release proves this yet again with a new remarkable formula. The foundation protects and nurtures the skin with age-defying oils, such as sweet almond oil, coconut oil, and jojoba oil. Staying within the Kjaer Weis Philosophy, all products are created with all natural and organic ingredients, while never compromising on luxury and effectiveness.
Kjaer Weis Cream Foundation has a unique texture and its performance is superior to other green beauty products out there. This cream foundation easily contends with some of my favorite bases, green or not. With medium coverage, the KW foundation blurs pores and covers imperfections exceptionally, as well as covering pesky dark circles. While it has a fuller coverage, it remains fairly undetectable on the skin, with a satin finish. Kjaer Weis Foundation easily creates a no-makeup look.
The Cream Foundation can be applied with a foundation brush, beauty blender, or with just your fingertips. For sheer coverage, a damp sponge works beautifully. I personally prefer to use my fingertips, applying the foundation in a rolling motion, applying more product in areas that desire more coverage. I love the control of coverage that this formula provides. I do find it necessary to moisturize skin beforehand for easier application. Kahina’s Argan Oil or One Love Organics Morning Glory are my personal favorite picks. After I have applied the foundation, I go over my whole face with a damp BB to smooth the whole look. The satin finish allows you to skip your powder. Touch-ups are a breeze with this formula.
Paper Thin is for fair to medium complexions with pink undertones and warm enough to suit my complexion.

The Contour Cream also contains a blend of exquisite natural oils, cocoa butter, beeswax and essential oils to provide optimal hydration and anti-aging benefits. The addition of bee venom (derived from cruelty-free extraction practices) stimulates blood flow to the skin triggering the production of collagen and elastin.
In just a few days, the Face Contour Cream will have your skin looking fresh and feeling deeply nourished. When used overnight, you awaken to a dewy and plump complexion. I was personally surprised to find just how well conditioned my skin felt by morning. The bee venom creates only the slightest tingle. After just a few days of use, its benefits are obvious. Skin appears firmer and in an overall healthier condition. The Face Contour Cream is perfect for any skin type and a great natural alternative to injections. I’m so excited to do my very first ‘outfit of the day’ post. These photo’s were taken on the North Shore of Long Island down the block from my parent’s home. At the end of this path is a little square of private beach overlooking the Long Island Sound, a perfect spot for watching sunsets.
